About the MPD Call Logs

The Milwaukee Police Department publishes call information on their website, but it has some restrictions. The calls listed on their site are delayed by 30 minutes from their actual occurrance and the call information is only visible on their website for 60 minutes. That means that 90 minutes after a dispatch call, the record is no longer available to the public.

This website monitors the official MPD calls for service in five minute intervals and stores those calls in a separate location. By doing this, it is possible to preserve the call information as public information forever without the need for a FOIA request.

This service is provided for free by RokkinCat, a custom software contracting agency in Milwaukee. If you would like to contribute in some way, see our contribution guide here.
